ABOUT CRC

CRC is a robotics competition being held in Montreal since 2001. Every year there is a new competition where new tasks have to be completed. The founders of CRC were not happy with the competitions out there. CRC is all about bilingualism, multidisciplinary, teamwork as well as equality. While some of the other competitions allow mentors to build the robot CRC is all students. At CRC it's not just robots, it's everything from programming to creating a kiosk, website, video, tutorial, presentation to robotics competitions. You dont have to be a "nerd" to participate in CRC.

Starting in early fall there is a kickoff where the task, team kits and information for the year are released to the public. After the kickoff most teams start right away to prototype a robot for the year. There are programing competitions monthly. On the competition days, you have lots of work to do. Creating your kiosk, setting up your workspace, doing the finishing touches on your robot to practicing on the practice field. The in-person programming competition, the videos being played and everything else that happens at CRC.
